2014-12-20T00:00:00Great cleaner, easy way to save money with your K&N filter Although I clean mine at 10,000 because it seems like my mileage was getting lower than usual. I took it out, sprayed generously with the cleaner, let it set the 10 minutes and ran water through it from the side where its clean to flush out the dirt on the other side. I used a low pressure from the shop sink faucet, warm water, just because, that....no high pressure water or you will damage the filter, if there is any debris left in there, I used the sink sprayer, or use something really thin to pick it out, compressed air not recommended as well, you might damage the filter, then when you are SURE you cleaned the cleaner off the filter completely with water, let it air dry, when it is dried completely you re-oil it with the k&n oil till its evenly red on all the filter media, do no over oil it, as long as it turns red, no white, you're good. I have used this on filters that ware very old and really packed with gunk and it really worked well. I'd buy it again.

2023-02-21T00:00:00Nothing beats K & N air filters for your car. Nothing. I keep a second set of air filters when I change the oil on my 2017 Infiniti Q50 Red Sport 400. The filters allow the engine to breath with less restrictions. Being able to clean them properly instead of just tossing the old ones away is a greener way to go. This spray cleaner works perfectly and since all my vehicles use the same brand of air filters, it is more convenient than the kits with cleaner and oil. My only complaint is the sprayer head plastic breaks easily. Minor thing but it made me rate 4 stars instead of 5.
