After delivered to my location, I had to wait 5 days before I was able to open the package due to extenuating circumstances but despite this the bamboo is still in amazing health. They are packaged with a gel by the roots to provide water to the plants and it worked very well. -

I was able to give several to friends and peers, all of whom claimed they couldn't grow any real plants with their lack of light in their office, but as of right now several months later are still reporting that they are thriving. I also kept a few plants for myself. Of the ones I kept I chose to keep 4 of the ones that were yellowing when they arrived, either on the leaves or the actual stem. 3 recovered and are now growing happily, though two have scars. One I had to throw out because it was completely dead. Overall not bad for the price, and I'd probably get them again if I were giving out office gifts. -
