She told me that they stood up proudly after a few days and they look wonderful. I was hasty in posting the previous account, and I must recommend these sunflowers are very pretty and very much alive! 🌻

2024-10-16T00:00:00Three sunflower bouquets were delivered. Upon arrival, I immediately cut the stems and placed my sunflowers in treated water as directed. I received 10 stems with only 9 sunflower blooms. We were hopeful that the stems would perk up and sunflowers would open but as the evening progressed the flowers have only drooped further and further. So disappointed. This was the outcome of 2 of the 3 orders delivered. I ordered them for my best friend and her daughter in remembrance of the death of their son/brother who passed two years ago of bone cancer at age 21. These sad flowers did not bring a sense of peace and joy that we had hoped for.

2024-09-15T00:00:00I was initially going to rate this a 2 star. These very small (2 - 2 1/2 inch across) sunflowers were well packaged & arrived very fresh, but TWO INCHES?!? Every sunflower I've grown or purchased was a minimum of 4 inches across, but usually 5-6 inches. I was very disappointed. They looked very scanty, even in the included vase, but I was willing to wait (& hope) as instructed. While the flowers opened well, they didn't get bigger. I transferred them to a different vase & added flower filling from my own garden. After 5 days, the sunflowers really came into their own - so I added a star. As you can see from this photo - they look good still, after *13* days! So, I added another star. So, if you can add a bit of greenery & wait 4-5 days, you'll have a pretty & very long lasting bouquet!
