2024-10-01T00:00:00I had high hopes based on other reviews, but I wasn't expecting it to work this well! In fact, it almost works too well. I had bought some automotive carpet for my trunk that was supposed to be an exact match to the rest of my existing carpet, but it was a bit too light. I bought this so that I could attempt to make it slightly darker by dusting the color on. Instead, one short burst completely turned that part of the carpet black (which, I guess, is the point of the product)! So, I had to finish the job, and I only needed one coat to completely cover the carpet (which is actually now a much closer match to my original carpet). My point is, be aware that there's really no way to gradually apply fine coats - if you use this stuff, whatever you are spraying will immediately change to that new color. -

2024-06-07T00:00:00I have used this fabric spray paint for 2 projects so far, both of them being DIY punk jackets. I made stencils using my Cricut machine and cut them out of freezer paper, which I then ironed on to the jackets before spraying with the paint. The first one turned out great; the second one got rather smudged, but I think it was because I was spraying too close to the material and/or spraying too much in one coat. I would definitely recommend doing a test swatch first, which I didn't do. I love the nozzle on this paint; I haven't had any issues with paint leaking out or anything, and it's easy to control the flow. It's a nice matte color too; all it took was 2-3 coats to have a solid black design on denim. I would definitely try this paint out in different colors.

2024-05-04T00:00:00Daughter needed black pointe shoes for a costume so we purchased this to paint them. One can was plenty for two shoes, elastic, and ribbon. Paint went on well and coverage was good, though the wrinkles in the shoes made it hard to get full coverage—even when we stuffed them to try and straighten it out. Used tape on the bottom to avoid spraying the soles. Paint smells awful—do it outside for sure. After drying overnight found the satin ribbon is very stiff and crunchy, but it ties ok. Shoes too are kind of crunchy. Don’t know if that would happen with other types of fabric. This crunchiness is the reason I took away a star. Maybe it will soften up with time.

2021-02-28T00:00:00It looked good after I had sprayed the Navy colour onto my cotton hat - but when I washed it in cool water the dye came out. I had left it for 24 hours before trying to wash it. I didn't want to be wearing it in the rain and the dye to start coming down my face!!
