2024-07-07T00:00:00This is one of the BEST purchases I've made on Amazon! I spend a lot of money on skincare and laser treatments on my face, and try my nest to stay out of the sun. The tint on my car windows isn't strong enough, and this shade has been wonderful! The darkest is perfect to block out the sun and I love that I can move it around easily. It's a larger size so I do have to move it often while driving- mostly when turning. I can see thru it, but not good enough. It is so easy to remove and just slap it back up again. There are some lighter shades that also come with the set.

2024-11-09T00:00:00I find both sets to work very well at reducing the intense sun as I drive. I recently started a much longer commute and noticed that a large part of my trip would have the sun shining in the driver's side window. These stick to my windows very well and cover a large part of the window to give me significant relief from the sun. You have to be a bit careful to be able to see traffic through these, but the shade is well worth it. One unfortunate issue might occur if you forget these are on your windows, and you decide to roll them down. My experience was that the shade sticks so well to the window that the rubber seal is pushed down (inverted on my Honda Accord), which becomes a minor pain to fix properly. Overall these have been one of my most useful purchases, and I highly recommend them. If these don't stick well to your windows, just wash the window and the shiny side of the shade with a damp cloth and dry both of them.

2024-06-21T00:00:00I bought these Kinder Fluff Semi-Transparent Sunshades (KFSS) after I tried a popular retractable shade brand that uses suction cups that would not stick well. For my application, after selecting the proper sizes, the KFSS fit the bill. They are 1) very compact as they fold up to a small size for in-vehicle storage, 2) less prone to parts failure as there are no moving parts like with the retractable ones, 3) less expensive, and 4) don't interfere with the window closing as do the retractable ones that use the top window clips. The only long-term performance feature that might be an issue is how long will the static film last that holds the KFSS to the window. Hopefully, this will not be an issue, but only time will tell.

2024-09-05T00:00:00I drive an Audi TT with frameless windows that are long but shorter. I measured the windows and could not find a smaller size shade so I opted to get this set and test it. It actually works perfect on the side windows. The metal frame of the shade tucks nicely above and below. I tested it today driving with my dog and it shaded her nicely. I noticed it left a little residue when I removed them but I actually think that was because I didn’t pre-clean my windows. Even without cleaning the windows the front one stuck with no effort. The transparent one you can see through but like some other reviews it can obstruct vision. I’m excited to use it tomorrow driving to and from work when the sun beats through my side windows. Sun protection for the win!

2024-08-08T00:00:00With the aid of someone wiser than myself, I found that if you wipe down the window and then get it just a tad damp with a lightly soapy rag (then press on and push the bubbles out) these will stay in place very well for a long time. So installation is not too difficult once you learn how to do it. They are good size (not going to cover the entire window but still will provide good shade. They do make it difficult to see out (even the lighter ones) so I don’t use them in my front windows. There are two reasons I’m removing one star. First is an inherent design flaw (imo) where the film on the back is placed into a wire rim (which lifts the shade very slightly) making it basically impossible to have them be 100% flush to the window and thus more difficult to install and use. And second, the QR code that they provide to scan to look up the instruction manual online takes you to a website that tells you that you’re not authorized to view it.

2022-09-20T00:00:00I live how easy it sticks to the glass. I can use it when I’m driving, I even used it on the windshield once when the sun was in my eyes and blinding. I could still see under the visor (wasn’t trying to look through it) . I also use it on my door windows when my car is parked to prevent thieves from looking in. Out of sight of of mind.
