Love the product. ALL of the gift card holders opened. You just have to make sure that once you get the ball in the right place, make sure that your finger/s does not block the latch door opening. I recommend that you hold the gift container at the long side and then push the ball level and that should pop it open simply. If the first time does not work, do try again! All things in right place, and it should work nicely. Read more

I bought the 6 pack since it was such a better deal than buying separately. I’m giving gift cards to my grand boys so this will be more of a gift to open instead of just handing them a card. You have to work the maze to put the gift card inside, it took a couple of times to open at first. I think I’ll give it to them without instructions first to see if they can open it on their own! My husband wanted to return them since he thought it was broken since he couldn’t open it! Lol. They worked fine! Read more

So these are great, so much fun to watch my friends and family trying to get into these. Definately a good way to make a gift card or cash gift more exciting. The maze is not as easy as it looks, there are some ridges and bumps that make navigating the ball a little tricky. And if you accidentally solve the puzzle but forget to take your hands off the door first it will push the ball through and restart the maze with the card still trapped inside! I thought this was hilarious. But be aware there is no room for ANYTHING else other than one single gift card. I wanted to put two in some, or wrap them up so you couldn't see them until you opened it, but then the door would not close. Would have been nice to have a deeper chamber to accommodate a gift card and a little Christmas note or something. Read more

The springs were not strong enough to open these puzzles. Of the five I tried, only one opened to get a gift card inside. However, it was not able to open a second time to get the gift card out. Read more

I gifted these for christmas to my nephews who range from 10-14 years old. they asked for Roblox gift cards and this was a fun way for them to unlock the gift card. they played it over and over and it wasnt as easy as they thought it would be. a couple gave it back to me so i'm planning to reuse it for a baby shower prize or similar. The basic idea is fine, but the execution leaves much to be desired. Not all six units in the box I ordered would function; that is, the doors wouldn't open on three of them despite trying those that initially failed to open another two times each by running the ball around the maze. Read more

I used these as gifts at Christmas for my grandchildren. I planned to give them each some money to use for a day of fun or an item they were looking to get. They all had a lot of fun trying to open the box. Everyone was concentrating on the ball in the maze and giving each other hints on were to go. Even the adults were entertained watching and listening to them giving hints to each other. Read more
