2024-10-14T00:00:00This is my second time using my Brothers embroidery machine. I made my first embroidery attempt with plain polyester yarn. It came out great but I saw some reviews that said the embroidery yarn has a different sparkle, brightness to it. And it’s true. This yard (or thread) is very pretty. I had no breaking of the yarn. And the package comes with a great variety of colors for the price. I included a picture of all of the colors together and a couple just in my hand. The pamphlet included all the colors provided and they were all there. Also are some of my embroidered practice pieces. Definitely recommend this product and will be buying again once I use these us. -

2024-01-02T00:00:00I purchased the Brothread for the price and color array for my Husqvarna Brilliance embroidery machine. I usually use Sulky or Robison-Anton. The positives are: 1. Nice rich colors. I purchased the 40 spool selection and was very happy with the color selection. 2. Very shiny. Stitched out with a nice density and the colors were shiny and brilliant. 3. Good value for the amount of colors and each spool has a lot of thread. This will last me a long time. Now the negatives: 1. It is very thin. It is durable enough, but definitely thinner than Sulky. The thread ply unravels easily so is sometimes hard to thread. 2. I could not leave my machine confidently to do its thing. The thread broke, sometimes multiple times, while it was stitching out. 3. The spool is cheap quality, which you would think wouldn't matter, but it does. There a several rough edges that the thread caught on while stitching. This resulted in at least 3 broken needles when I wasn't looking. The thread would catch, the power of the machine would cause the needle to literally break in half. I would recommend using some steel wool to smooth the edges. Conclusion: I will use up my supply as I am happy with the colors and shine, but probably will not repurchase.
