They are very easy to use (even our 2 year old had no problem using them) and squirt a large distance. They are very sturdy and are still in great condition after a summer of very frequent use. They are also helpful in getting young children comfortable with getting splashed and having water in their eyes. When they are having so much fun with the squirters they don't mind getting splashed at all. -
