2024-09-26T00:00:00Arrived very quickly, the packaging was very good, nothing was broken or damaged. My 2 yr old grandson loved every toy in the collection. The fishing pools are magnetic and really work like a rod and reel. The fish have tiny magnets so they attach/“get caught” very easily. Even the adults enjoyed catching fish with him. There are a nice variety of fish, they are very colorful, with no rough or sharp edges. He played with these toys all day. At the end of the day, clean up was a breeze. None of the items had holes so that water was trapped inside, so all was simply dried off. No drip dry so nothing was left outside to get stepped on or blown away. There was one fish that got missed and wound up in the pool skimmer. It was intact and did not cause any damage. Great pool toy at a great price. Highly recommend.

2024-05-22T00:00:00It's a really nice toy for small kids, easy to clean and to store away in the bag it comes in, only down side on this is that the fishing poles are very delicate and come apart fairly easy but can be put back together and also the magnet is not strong so it can be a bit difficult to get the fishes, but overall it's really good especially for price.

2024-09-09T00:00:00I have already returned two sets of these for the fishing poles breaking, The first set of magnets fell out of the tips of the fishing poles after like one week, And then I got a replacement set and now one doesn’t even reel up anymore after you catch a fish.. My kids are three and one so maybe your kids need to be a little bit older to play with this and be a little bit nicer. Otherwise it will be trash after a couple weeks…

2024-06-08T00:00:00We bought this Fishing Set for our VBS, to be used as a filler after children had completed other activities. There were always children who wanted to "go fishing." One of the children said that was his favorite activity -- which, hopefully, is not a criticism of our program but a praise for the toy. Many children were using the product. The fishing poles were sturdy and they were able to catch fish in our "Sea of Galilee" stock trough. The magnets on the poles fastened securely to the"water animals." We plan to use it again for children attending our "Trunk or Treat" in October, as well as at other church functions. It was a good product for our purpose and our children (ages 5-11) enjoyed playing with it.

But we can place the plastic sea creatures around and they will make excellent decorations. There are so many! and we didn't expect the nets but there are some fishing nets that came with the kit also!

2024-09-23T00:00:00This would be a five star review if I was only basing it on colors and mold resistance. I think the quality of the fish are average but I would argue the affordability makes the quality make sense. Unfortunately the magnet size ruins the toy. It is so small that it doesn’t pick up the fish unless the water is completely still. Honestly it’ll be a good option for a water table but if your kid is going to be in the water too it’s a bad idea as the kid won’t be able to catch the toys.

2020-12-26T00:00:00I was dubious about this as looks cheap, however for the price I thought would give it a try. So glad I did, it is amazing. The rods are well made, reels wind up and down well and the telescopic feature allows easy storage, on the end is a magnet hidden inside a plastic worm. It is weighty enough that it settles from swinging well and allows children to hook their fish. There are also nets to land the fish. This fish are a cheap plastic with a screw in mouth however there is a good variety of fish and sea creatures. They feel strong enough that they will withstand my daughters games and adventures. The whole set comes in a perfect draw string storage bag. I don't intend on using these in water, as my daughter wanted for role playing not bath fun. I would say the length of line is decent enough to have a good game, however is long enough to wrap around a neck, so for younger children if not 100% supervised I would shorten the string by cutting or putting to a safe length and tape to the rod so can be extended when older. I will be ordering my nephew a set for his birthday and very tempted to order a second set for my daughter so she has more, although there are rather a lot already.
