2023-02-17T00:00:00We have this hood installed & used since November 2022. There were ~7 days before our contractor cut the hole to complete the outside venting so we had to use it as a ventless ducted hood. We had serious doubt during this 7 days and were in despair that we might need to shell out more $$$ for a better hood since it was not sucking anything. However, once the outside hole is created, this resolved the issue. Noise level is not terrible and it works pretty well. We had our contractor installed it on a standard 8ft ceiling. Due to the minimal length required, the hoods comes down a bit low. For a 5'7 person, it comes to almost eye level but it doesn't bother us. Overall, I recommend this hood if you have a ducted situation but if ductless, probably not the best.

2022-03-15T00:00:00The media could not be loaded. Quality vent hood with great suction power. The installation could be simplified by making the stainless steel chimney two pieces (front and back) that clamps together at the seams on each side. I would imagine 90% of the installs will be on a standard 8 ft. ceiling which would eliminate the need for separate inner and outer chimney trim pieces. You get 8 angle iron pieces each 24" long that mount to the ceiling bracket. For 8 ft. ceilings you only need to use 4 of them which allows the final install height from top of cooktop to bottom of the vent hood to be 34". This is what worked for me having to measure and cut the stainless steel chimney trim pieces. Cut the inner chimney at 12" long. Cut the outer chimney at 14" long. These measurements allows enough clearance to first mount the inner chimney at the top to the bracket and support legs. Then slip the outer chimney over everything and push it up all the way top/ceiling supporting it with supplied clips. Next place the main unit under the chimney setup, lower the outer chimney, connect your duct and electrical. Now push the outer chimney back to the ceiling and support with clips. Then lift the main unit up and mount on all four sides to the 4 angle iron supports. Finally lower the chimney outer trim dow to the vent hood. As you can see, since the chimney is just trim, installation could have been much simpler had the just made a 24 inch long chimney in 2 pieces that snaps together on both sides. You could install/mount the unit first without having to work around the chimney trim.

2022-12-09T00:00:00My main complaint on this vent hood is that it will randomly turn off while using it and you have to turn it back on. It is a little noisy but I can live with that because it does have good suction.

2023-04-11T00:00:00I get more complements on this than aniin my house. Looks great. The only issue I have is the touch screen never worked right, from day one. Sometimes the light works, mostly not. I will be rewiring the light to a switch to fix the issue. To big of a project to remove and replace now. Be sure to thoroughly check it out (before) you install.

2023-04-05T00:00:00I only gave 3 stars because the first hood sent to me was broken and it was very stressful getting my money back in full. I replaced it with a new one and I’m satisfied with it. Pay close attention to the measurements, the glass parts can hit your head if you’re 6 ft or taller. -

2023-02-06T00:00:00For something fairly expensive, the instructions are terrible! There really aren’t any good videos on the internet either. The finish product is awesome, works and looks great. Had to do some miner adjustments according to the bad instructions on the height and the stainless covers. The way it’s designed you can’t put all the screw in , I had to change that too. Overall finish product is great, if your not handy, hire a professional for this product.
