      These hoops are nice little ones for finishing small stitching projects for display. They are not really appropriate for using for stitching, as they are too small and these wood hoops don't always hold the tension well. They arrived well-packed and undamaged. The bonus items were a nice addition. I'm willing to order again when the time comes.

      Most inexpensive hoops only have an L-shaped groove that holds the fabric in place. I bought these after watching a video of embroidery hoop recommendations (The Stitchery on YouTube). The recommendation on the hoops was that you get ones with a U-shaped groove like these for a more secure grip on your fabric.

      These embroidery hoops will need a little sanding in areas, because of splintering and chips in the wood. They will do the job, but I will likely buy others next time.
