Once he settled in, it was fun in the sun all while staying safe, thanks to the shade cover! Floated well enough that a few adults took turna hanging onto it while baby was out of the pool. Great quality, functionality, and fun! -

2024-09-04T00:00:00It was easy to set up. Getting my 9 month old was a little tricky, but I managed within a couple tries. After she was in, she LOVED it. She. Started frog kicking away and the canopy shaded her whole head which is nice. I was able to relax in the pool with her in this and felt like she was safe and having fun. I would recommend this floatie to others.

It’s a decent size, I felt like my baby was a little too small for it as I couldn’t tighten the straps any more as she got tired and didn’t sit up as well as in this pic. Easy to set up and take down, and love the 5 point harness and ability for forward swim or back float. -

It got us through our first summer together, however I want to warn others just in case this helps to protect other babies- My little one is about 17 pounds and is rolling and managed to flip this product over while in the pool and was fully submerged while my back was turned (I was getting a bee out of the pool). Thankfully little one was right next to me and I was able to pull him right back out, but please don't walk away from your little one, and if they are at the age of rolling consider a different floatation device! I just want to mention this so everyone can have a safe and fun time at the pool!

2022-08-07T00:00:00Bought this for my 6.5 month old daughter. We used it when she went for her first ever time in the pool and before she was put in the floaty she started crying instantly but...once I put her in the floaty she stopped crying, had one arm relaxed behind her head and was just floating around the pool with me pushing her around for an hour! She was even smiling and enjoying herself the entire time. Especially for a first time swim experience for a 6.5 month old, this floaty made is a positive experience as me and my family all agreed that without it she would have hated the pool! She seemed/felt very secure in the backstroke lounging position and when we were in the direction that she was facing the sun, it was nice that you could just angle the canopy to keep blocking out the sun. Only downside I'd say is that you have to hold the canopy if you want it more in front but that's not a big deal for me as I'm with her holding the floaty the entire time anyways. It does take a bit to deflate as the seal is the type that you have to pinch in order to let the air out but I actually consider that to be more of a pro than a con because that gives me reassurance that it will never deflate while she is in it! No flipping either so that was great. Feels very sturdy and no tipping at all. Her legs were fully free to kick or just float so she wasn't restricted. Definitely made her first experience in a pool a positive one and we will definitely be bringing this with us ANYTIME we go swimming in the future! I'd highly recommend to anyone and everyone. Oh, and my daughter is 14lbs and got the small size and it fit her perfectly with room to grow. She seemed extremely comfortable almost to the point of falling asleep if my nephews weren't making a lot of noise haha.
