2024-01-30T00:00:00Caliart acrylic paints have a good consistency for Mandala dotting. They come in a variety of colors, including pastels and metallics. I give four stars because the bottles are very hard to reopen after using them a couple times. I keep a large wrench on my desk to help me open certain bottles. The cap is very hard on my hands and I don't have a strong enough grip to open these easily. But I love the paint itself. It's very easy to use with dotting tools. Dotting requires the paint be solid enough to only need one dot. Some of these colors are a little too sheer and it takes several dots set one on top of another to achieve a good solid color; which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of five. The price for Caliart is great so the little issues aren't bad. I'll be buying this one again when the bottles get too low for sure. -
