I set it up on my gooseneck equipment trailer and it works great. Purchased the trailer in 2018 and it still has the original battery. Good value for a fine maintainer.

I bought this for my deep cycle battery on my camper. I spent 9 days camping in September and it worked great. I wasn’t hooked up to power but I did have a generator. I didn’t need the generator as much this year. Most of the days had ample sunshine but I was in a valley between two mountains. Easy to hook up as well.

In full sun it takes about two days to put a full charge on a 12v lead-acid motorcycle battery. I use this to charge a 12v battery on a water pump for irrigation. I run the pump for about 15-20 minutes at a time. If I do that every day the charger won't keep up, I'll eventually run the battery completely dead by like day 5. However if I do it every other day it seems to be fine and the charger will usually read full when I go to use it. Definitely very water proof and the amount of connectors it comes with is awesome. Its nice that it has a little status LED light too. Read the manual but Flashing Green means its getting sun and ready to charge, but its not connected to anything. Constant Green means the battery is fully charged. Flashing Red means its charging. Constant Red means something is wrong. Double check your polarity because you can reverse charge a battery with this thing, there's no circuitry to prevent it. Its a nice little unit for the money, I should have bought the higher wattage for daily use.

This was a replacement for a cheaper charger that melted in the sun. I use it to keep my car battery from discharging due to idle current draw from all the electronics. Seems to be working just fine. It is a little larger than my previous charger but nonetheless fits well on the dashboard top. The red/green indicator lights are confusing until you read the on-line Q&A's. Flashing red apparently means it is charging your battery. Steady red means your battery voltage is too low (well below 12V). Flashing green means you've got enough sunlight but your battery does not need charging.

I'm currently using this to keep the VW bug charged due to a parasitic draw. It works great. The 12v connection did not work for some reason, so I'm directly connecting to the battery via the battery clips.

I like that a charge controller is built into this panel. The fit and finish is not as refined as it could be but is definitely useable. The battery clips are fragile and need improvement.
