2024-12-28T00:00:00I had to get a plumber to unclog and re-pipe my kitchen sink twice the past year. After getting everything fixed and re-routed for a final time, I decided to be extra careful and add these strainers to each sink side to catch all items that might go through traditional strainers (thick grease, spices, ground coffee, and other crumbs). The trade off with this item (especially if you use it on top of a regular strainer) is that the sink my drain slower than usual. However, the big plus for me is catching all things that otherwise ended up down the sink and helped cause major clogs. Overall, no issues so far and still looking new after several months of use. -

2024-11-29T00:00:00I have a large porcelain sink and this strainer fits perfectly. Strainer sits real snug to drain so lil particles can't sneak down. We don't have a garbage disposal so have to be real careful. While the mesh is fine, it does not plug up water flowing down drain unless it's really full.
