2024-12-01T00:00:00I bought this wireless guitar transmitter/receiver set not expecting to get great sound, but at least help with the cable clutter in my small space. These did that and so much more. With the equipment I was using, I could not tell that I was going wireless, rather than plugged in. Actually, I COULD tell, because I wasn't getting any cable buzz. It was refreshing, and the system was reproducing my guitar's sound rather well. These are definitely worth the money.

2024-11-30T00:00:00These are not at all on par with a high quality wireless. But let’s be honest, if that’s what we wanted we wouldn’t be here!! There is a bit of noticeable signal drop (only on some of my guitars) but honestly for the price, you can’t beat it. I can walk to the end of my driveway and still be fully connected. They last a few hours on a charge and come with a split charger so both can charge at once. For the money you can’t beat them for freedom around the house. Def. Wouldn’t be my first choice for live sound, but I believe in a pinch they would get ya through. (From what I’ve read they don’t like to be in close proximity to other same units.) For the money I would buy them again. Oh yeah, my biggest gripe is that the pad on the transmitter to keep from scratching the guitar… does not seem to line up with a non front input strat, tele or les Paul style guitar!! Unless mine was misaligned or something. I just made my own pad for it. -

2024-11-16T00:00:00I'm not sure how long a single charge is supposed to actually last with these things. The listing says with a full charge they can last 8 hours, but twice now I could barely get through 3 hours of a band rehearsal before I started to lose volume. For good measure, I left them plugged in to charge over night. I haven't gotten a blinking yellow light while playing-supposedly this signals you that the battery is low.

2024-07-17T00:00:00I was sceptical about using wireless units for guitar as range, latency, tone, battery can all mess with the fun of just getting on and playing. The first thing I tried out was the range - I tried the Joyo all the way down my 27ft living room and through to the end of my 60ft garden - it worked flawlessly. I also haven't detected any noticeable latency. The battery life meets expectations and it has lasted so far for me a week's worth of playing a couple of hours a day. The tone is fine - it is worth noting that I have compensated on my amp a little to get the exact tone I'm used to from a standard cable. I think the unit brings out the treble frequencies a little, but that's easily tweaked with a slight adjustment of EQ. I've been using it on my youtube channel for making content and couldn't be happier as it makes practicing and playing for hours much easier - especially with my heavy Les Paul. I can now wander around the house which takes some of the strain off my body from being rooted to the spot and I can repeat riffs again and again until they're right. I'm very happy, not sure my wife is now I'm playing more! The Joyo is a great little wireless guitar unit. It's pretty cheap and I wished I'd just taken the plunge before - better late than never.
