The directions are super simple to follow, but I could hardly read them on the packaging, so I had to come back here to view the pic with the product! But color was good. Got a nice gray color, not deep black, as expected. As directed, WEAR GLOVES! It will stain skin and nails if you’re dying the fabric without gloves on. I forgot my gloves before I started the process, and said oh well after I was already elbow deep in my dye bath…and now have a nice mechanics look to sport for the last couple of days 😊!

Used on a cotton blend shirt from Heather Grey to this gorgeous blue sky! Boiled for an hour! Just do it! Turned out great!

Was exactly the color advertised. Hard to gauge a bit while it's cooking since the fabric is wet and the dye bath appears darker, but you get the right color in the end. I dyed two separate garments and they both came out almost picture perfect as the color on the bottle. However, I did start with just paler colors of what I was dyeing beforehand, so it's not like I was trying to dye red into purple. My starter garments were a light gray and a light blue and I dyed them a darker gray and a darker blue.

Used on roll out awning valance panel. Was Grey and dyed to sapphire blue, came out mint! Boiling water/steam and proper mixing ratios according to the label is the most difficult parts of the process. Pretty easy. Put the valance back up and torrential rains for 2 days had no effect on the color at all. less than 3 days of direct sun faded it to purple, terrible. I am dying it again and applying scotchgard outdoor sun and water shield to see how much that helps. Will follow up if this was a complete waste of time and money (also trying the dye on the 4 curtain panels on the gazebo as blue ones were not an option).

I bought a pair of green-gold CastaMer espadrilles for the summer. I love them! But when it hit +100 degrees, embarrassing sweat stains appeared in the fabric soles.

My silicone phone case got dingy quickly and wouldn’t come clean. I tried everything and nothing worked. I decided to give this a try. I followed the instructions and then I soaked my phone case in the dye overnight. After that I put it in vinegar for 12 hours. It worked great. The case dyed completely black and has not faded. Glad I tried it. Thanks!

For my use - coloring umbrellas, not very useful in that application, looked worse when I was done Maybe my mistake trying to dye them.

I had a white dress that I bought and decided to dye it- best thing I did to the dress. Doesn't even look like it was dyed at home.
