I have spent hundreds of dollars on Liquid Drain-O and comparable brands, to try and get movement out of my bathroom sink drain. The drain has been backed up for a while, and was very slooooooowwwww moving. All of the liquids I dumped down the sink did not even get the water to budge. Literal standing water in my bathroom sink. I was over it, and kind of at my wits end. I saw a TikTok on this drain snake thing and decided to look to see if Amazon sold it. $6.96 later, and within 10 minutes of using the tool, my sink now drains 100%.

2024-08-14T00:00:00I like the concept, works on my sink drain where I don't really need it. My bathtub drain isn't modern day standard, has some cross bracing that obstructs the width of the blade, the little barbs get hung up about 5 inches down.

I was concerned about the clog getting stuck and not having the ability to pull the clog through the drain opening so I started by putting a little at a time in the drain and pulling it up. Then cleaned the wand with paper towels and kept reinserting the wand until I could feed the entire plastic strip in the drain. This completely cleared the clog and also cleaned the pipe. Highly recommend!
