2023-10-07T00:00:00This gi is worth every penny. The jacket feels sturdy but flexible at the same time, the pants are light but feel very strong. I did a little research on the size before buying because is my first gi in a very long time (15 years) and I had no reference at all, so I hope someone finds this helpful. I am 5'11", 170lbs, I got the A1L and the fit feels perfect, the edge of the sleeve is right at the level of the wrist while the hands are down at standing position and go about 1 inch lower if arms are extended to the sides. I haven't wash it yet, not sure how much it will shrink. But to me, really, it already fits perfectly. I guess the infamous wash shrink should make it fit even better. -

2022-03-01T00:00:00This Gi makes number four for me (all different brands) and I think I may have found a brand that I would stick to. This Gi seems to combine features I like from my other Gi. Its very lightweight (good for southern California) fits well, seems sturdy, and has little details like the built in rash guard that show that the manufacturer spent some time thinking about their product.

2021-09-02T00:00:00I am a black belt in San Diego, I teach Jiu jitsu 5 days a week and I only wear gold gi’s. I have the lightweight version and the 550 gsm which are both awesome, but this is the best of both worlds. 450 gsm: which has enough heft to be your most comfortable gi while still allowing for good training in the heat. There are brands out there that sell generic gi’s and spend big money on marketing (shoyoroll and hyperfly) and then there are brands that are committed to making the gi’s that competitors and addicted hobbyists actually buy. I love the latest addition to the gold lineup. Keep the new styles coming 🤙

2026-01-25T00:00:00Mido 1.66 y peso 64 kg, el A0 me quedó como mandado a hacer (literalmente mangas y pantalón con largo reglamentario exacto). Antes usaba un Sanabul A0 y comparándolo, el Gold es un poco más grande, aunque puede que el primero haya encogido un poco tras lavadas. El material se nota resistente y lo percibo ligero en peso. La única pega que le doy, es que salido del empaque se nota muy rígido, pero espero que se suavice después de algunas sesiones y lavadas.
