She liked to hold onto and chew on the chin strap. I had to wash it once or twice and not only did it hold up well but any stains came out easily. I was very happy with this hat and might have to get one in a larger size.

I found this hat and not only is it cute but you get more bank for your buck, meaning I’m really happy with the quality. My baby was only a few weeks old when we went out on a boat and though it was a little big it covered the back of her neck which is what my goal was. She didn’t seem to mind it at all and actually seemed quite comfortable wearing it. Even fell asleep with it on. I used the adjustable string so it wouldn’t fly off in the wind and it didn’t seem to move at all. I liked the pattern especially for summer sun hat. I threw it in the was with no issues with bleeding or anything like that. I hope it fits here in December or I’ll definitely be buying another one. -

The fabric is lightweight and breathable, and I love the added SPF feature for extra sun protection. The adjustable chin strap helps keep it in place, but it’s a bit roomy for newborns.
