2023-01-04T00:00:00I had been using an old entry level espresso maker but after a trip to Europe decided it was time to upgrade. I am not ready for a high end models ($500+), but I want something with good pump pressure that can make a consistent single or double cup. I tried a manual setting model out first because it was on sale, but decided I would rather have one with fixed one/two cup settings, specifically if I could tweak those volumes to meet my tastes. This like many Gevi models has the option of separately getting a legacy nespresso capsul holder PN GECME418E-U, which adds some flexibility. -

2022-04-07T00:00:00As a latte lover, I was so happy to find this espresso maker with the milk frother for such a reasonable price! This machine is all around great. It’s not cheaply made, makes GREAT espresso, and is fairly easy to clean! The only problem is you may have to scrub the frother if you let the milk dry on there, but that’s no biggie! This is so simple to use and so awesome to have in my kitchen! It’s maybe a foot long, a little over half a foot wide, and about a foot tall so it doesn’t take up much space at all while still delivering a quality service. BUY IT!! -

2022-11-04T00:00:00I originally purchased the expresso maker so I could froth milk. The frother unfortunately is very disappointing and I couldn't ever get it to froth as good as my hand held battery operated frother so I don't even use the frother. On a positive note the Bustello expresso comes out with a nice creamy froth on top that I stopped making my capachinos in afternoon and just make a double expresso. It doesn't make alot at one time so I always have to press button again to make a double shot which fills small 6oz cup or less. All in all it works great and easy to use.

2022-02-13T00:00:00If it’s not working you’re not using it right. I had a ton of water in the portafilter when I was done brewing. Took me forever to figure out what was going on. It was user error. I googled it and found that I was not filling it up enough. I thought I was over filling it and would take some out. I have a photo here showing when it’s full. It looks to full but trust me it’s not.

2022-05-23T00:00:00Update a year and a few months later: The pour no longer stops. I have to manually stop the pour or it will just keep going. I tried reaching out to the company, but because it's past warranty, the only thing they will do is troubleshoot with me. Even though I gave them the model number, I still had more hoops to jump through before they would even do that, so I gave up trying. Overall, I liked the machine while it worked. I would purchase again as a first machine, but now that I have experience making lattes every day, I would NOT repurchase this machine. I have my eye on a new upgrade, but for now, I manually time my own pours.

2022-03-16T00:00:00Look at that nice foam head, I can’t complain about anything so far. If you complain about how hot it is wait longer before brewing and it’s will get hotter. It’s not loud at all and is very easy to clean. I’m using a friends and still waiting for mine to arrive… its a great machin
