2023-03-22T00:00:00I bought this to replace a Braun 3 speed with a squeaky motor that was $400 to replace. For the price of this, it was an easy replacement. My only problem with it is the fan is either super low or super high. Wish there was a middle toggle. Low barely does anything, high is too loud. -

2023-02-05T00:00:00The media could not be loaded. This is to upgrade our cooktop from a JennAir downdraft. Broan did a nice job of making this hood vent easy to install. They have “hooks” on the sides that allow you to install it and let it stay in place while you install the screws. I removed the fan since I will be connecting it to a ductwork with a fan located remotely. The blocks of wood that are clamped in the pics are being glued to allow me to attach the hood with the screws Broan provided. Hardest part was measuring the cabinet and cutting the hole squarely. The unit is light so pretty much any cabinet can support it. Well done Broan! -

2010-04-28T00:00:00I am happy with this fan. Uses two 40W candelabra bulbs. Light has only On or Off setting. I wish the lights were brighter or maybe it's that they are not a focused beam, or maybe the unit sits higher than my old under-cabinet unit. The lights seem to be situated more to the back of the stove than they would be with an under-cabinet unit. Broan LB30 30-Inch Hood Liner . I bought an older home that had an empty-inside wood hood (no over stove cabinet) and thought the liner would slip right in there, we pop the fan in, and that's it. I downloaded all the instructions, spec sheets, etc., I could find online ahead of time. -

2022-09-08T00:00:00The media could not be loaded. This unit via not expensive and it was recommended as a direct fit for my range hood cabinet from Fabuwood. It did require me to get creative and use automotive metal speed clips on the hood liner that came with my range hood, and of course I had to cut hole in my cabinet. -

2013-08-03T00:00:00I hate kitchen odors in my house. Especially bacon, fish, etc., so, I wanted something that would tackle the task with ease. This unit has great draw/draft ability. Will actually pick up my hair a little, while close to the vent, when on high. We have it vented out into our attic and from there, to the gable vent of our new home. -

2013-11-13T00:00:00We have owned this for about 2 years. It has worked well, considering the price compared to higher models. The vent seems strong enough. I do have some specific cons... -

2014-12-21T00:00:00Fits like a glove in my custom built hood. Quality is that of $500-600 units I saw at local home stores. Favorite thing about this unit is it has no extra parts of details that do not add to its functionality. 'Squirrel cage' type blower fan literally runs circles around the 'fan blade' type blowers in Home Depot/Lowes style hoods. Motor housing is solid cast metal and the unit is very simple on the inside.
