It was comfortable the first night and I have no problem talking while wearing it. A great help for my mouth. I think this would help with snoring, but my wife says I don’t normally snore anyway so I can’t speak to that. -

2024-10-12T00:00:00I got this for gf who has an underbite and a mouth breather at night. Amazingly this worked pretty well, her mouth is only open a crack with it, no more heavy mouth breathing or snoring. She couldn't believe how refreshed she was after sleep, less self induced snore gasping wakeups. She forgot it on a trip and slept without it after a few weeks and jaw was trained to stay mostly closed. Downside is it does stretch out after about a month and can only tighten so much as you exceed the velcro hook area. They should make different sizes or increase the velcro attach length for when it stretches out from use. Hence the 4 not 5 rating.

The primary issue is its excessive stretchiness. It simply couldn't keep my mouth closed at all during sleep, rendering it useless for its intended purpose. -

2025-12-07T00:00:00I am female but an obese one. I thought that this chin strap would be perfect for my self described large face. Unfortunately, I was wrong. This chin strap was made for the male face and not female. I have to secure the velcro just at the far edge to get it as tight as I think it should be and then I'm not sure it's tight enough. I wear this with my CPAP, but I still end up snoring because I can't get the straps tight enough.

2025-12-22T00:00:00This particular chin strap is a cut above most others given the silky chin protective cover. No other straps I've found include this small bit important feature. It helps avoid any rub in my chin as i sleep, keeps the strap from leaving deep lines in my chin come morning given that's the tightest point of the strap, holding your mouth shut. It makes such a difference, I couldn't use a strap without this piece!
