2025-02-06T00:00:00Best PS5 I have had the pleasure of slapping in my greasy paws. Paddles feel like heaven and the trigger stops have changed me forever. Only complaint is battery life is in fact hot garbage but I run it wired most of the time.

2025-02-18T00:00:00The media could not be loaded. This is an official Sony PS5 controller. I got the Chroma Teal edition and the color looks incredible. I love the feel of the controller especially compared to the PS4 controller. The buttons are very smooth and tactically responsive. The shell is very high quality to protect the inner components which are fairly weighted. The sturdiness makes its predecessor feel cheap. I have another official PS5 controller that is about 5 years old and still works perfectly with absolutely zero stick drift. I popped it open for a good cleaning of some dried up dr pepper and a couple micro particles of lays chips and it feels good as new.

2024-12-04T00:00:00I've been debating on whether or not to get a second controller for a while. I mostly play on my own, and most of my games are single-player, so I didn't think I really wanted one. I have, however, had guests that wanted to play, and sharing a controller is just a pain in the... Well, the decision was pretty made for me, because my one controller suddenly no longer wanted to toggle to the right. Signing in to use the console was like a game in itself. Luckily my sign in code begins with a 1, so that was easy enough to hit Enter on, but moving the cursor for any other number was practically impossible. But, I digress (though if someone can clue me in on how I can remedy this annoyance, I'd appreciate it). I charged the controller right away and it worked perfectly. The color is really cool, too. I didn't want just another white one. I picked it up on a very good Black Friday sale, so that took the sting out of shelling out for full price, and i had credit from a couple of gift cards (Sony could really bring down the prices on so much without losing a profit. The bastids, lol). Anyway, I'm very pleased with the purchase, and hope it lasts longer than the one I got with the PS5 back in August of 2023. -
