2023-04-30T00:00:00i got 6 of these ring cameras working on batteries to replace my existing blink cameras which they were great with the battery cuz you can replace them every year if you use them to watch the camera when you want it and not to record all the time, the only problem with Blink is the network in not that good lately. -

2023-06-13T00:00:00The ring stickup cameras work great even outdoors in the rain or snow and the batteries last a long time, generally 2 - 3 months depending on the weather. Ring charges $10/month for supporting the videos on their site and the number of cameras doesn't matter. I pay $10/month and I am running 4 cameras and the current time, they are easy to setup and use. Ring also provides great support. -

They have great quality night vision, two way talk and the batteries have lasted longer between charges than I thought. Very satisfied.

2023-03-19T00:00:00I now have 3 of the battery stick up Ring cameras outside my house. They all have the optional power supply to keep them charged. The distance for motion detection for my back yard camera is only about 35-40', which will not pick up movement around my shop in the back yard from the porch. Picture is excellent, and I have the maximum sensitivity set, but it is still a bit short. For the second issue, I looked to insure that these stick up cameras can be mounted under the eave of my roof using the mounting hole on the bottom of the camera. It can be mounted, but your live picture will always be upside down! Looking further, only the INDOOR stick up cameras have the invert picture capability, NOT the outdoor models. ??? Why wouldn't the software be exactly the same so either could be mounted upside down and the picture flipped in the app? Had to remove the mount and find a new place to mount it where it is protected from rain/hail etc. and mount right side up. Come on Ring...you can fix this!
