2024-09-06T00:00:00I am usually very reluctant to buy "out of the box" electronics, even if slightly used. But given Amazon's 30 day warranty and the irresistible discount, I decided to buy it. The machine was barely used (I really couldn't tell if it had been at all except for the obvious repacking of some of the parts). -

2023-05-03T00:00:00It worked for 3 weeks made about 50 cups of coffee, machine said it needed to be cleaned. We cleaned it as directed. 2 weeks later machine stated to clean again. We cleaned it again. Called and emailed for help! Lady on phone said the machine is fine but the red light will always stay on. This is not logical for a brand new $1000. Coffee maker. We had an older model that lasted almost 2 years, still not lasting long enough for the price. Noe we will see if we can get a refund since the machine is not working! Please do not waste your money!

2024-05-17T00:00:00I no longer waste money at Starbucks or other coffee shops. This fully automatic espresso maker makes coffee house quality espresso right in your own home. The price is somewhat high, but depending on how often you spend at high end coffee shops, it will easily pay for itself in a year. I've been very happy and the routine maintenance on the machine is simple and quick. Money well spent for a quality coffee drinker.

2022-12-23T00:00:00The Good: This machine makes very good espressos to allonges for a semi-automatic coffee maker. It is still lacking in flavor and texture to what I make in my real espresso maker and that is to be expected with the pressurized basket it uses. Nevertheless it is extremely convenient and I don't always have time to make espresso (this machine is also way cheaper than a real espresso setup). For most people the quality of the drinks this makes will be some of the best they have ever had. I roast my own coffee and I am obsessive about coffee. I have tried every method of coffee brewing and most days I use the Jura. This isn't my first Jura, I also own the older ENA 9 and this machine makes better espresso than the ENA 9 probably due to the newer PEP feature and updated grinder (maybe a 15% improvement/increase in flavor from the older model).

2024-06-16T00:00:00This is the best entry level super automatic espresso/coffee maker. The warranty is good and the manufacturer is stable and stands behind their products. I used this traveling in my car. It worked fine, but generally I don’t recommend traveling with it. One noted hockey coach travels with a Jura Coffee maker to every city his team plays a game in. Coincidentally, that coaches first Stanley Cup win may be very soon indeed. But it looks like not tonight. Maybe Tuesday. The Jura coffee maker, coach and team head back to Miami for Tuesday’s game.

2024-03-07T00:00:00We used to own the old Jura J5 bought back in 2007 or 2008. That workhorse lasted close to 15 years in a 6 person coffee drinker office. So naturally, I went back to the same brand. We've never used the milk/frother option so we opted for this model.

2022-10-02T00:00:00Love my new machine. Have been purchasing Jura coffee makers for 20 years. Love the new look, small footprint and white color. Makes great coffee. Only downside is you can’t get a full cup of coffee. To fill up a regular coffee cup I have to enter 1 coffee followed by 1 espresso size. I needed to study product details more carefully before purchasing but will make due. This particular model does not come with a milk steamer. It’s not an issue for me but something to keep in mind in you prefer steamed milk.

2024-03-23T00:00:00We did all of the maintenance it told us to do but it eventually had an error that needed to go into the shop for. Because Amazon is not a certified dealer there is no warranty and the cost to fix it is 500 dollars. Very disappointed if you buy from a local shop they give you two year warranty!
