2024-07-16T00:00:00I was gifted this mat for my son at his baby shower and it looked really neat and colorful. When I went to open it and start to fill it, it was hard to fill since the opening is only so big, I used the bathtub to fill it and it was a pretty decent size after filling. Once filled I noticed no leaks in the mat, but the floaties inside didn’t really move as well and they would stick to the surface of the mat. It is very durable and was used in a hardwood floor and never popped and we have dogs! There is no distinct smell to the mat but I did change the water frequently so that it did not start to grow bacteria or mildew. It did occupy my son for a little while he did tummy time and crawling but after about 6 months old it did not catch his attention any longer. I would use it again since it did preform its job but I thought it would have more foam creatures inside to help with catching a babies eye.
