The instructions are very clear and most people that have had experience with replacing the Quest’s headstrap can do it without reading the manual. The headstrap is unbelievably comfortable and puts very little pressure on your face as advertised. It supports your forehead, the top of your head, and the back of your head with foam similar or the exact same as what VRCover uses for their face interfaces. The batteries are very effective at balancing the weight of the headset which makes it even more comfortable. Since there is very little weight on your face, fogging doesn’t happen very often. No matter how much I tightened the headstrap, it remained comfortable and enjoyable to wear. In fact, I recommend you tighten it as much as you can because it drastically improves the experience. The headstrap also allowed for the iconic flip-up mechanic that the Vive Cosmos introduced. This headstrap takes everything that we’ve learned about headstraps and combines it all into a singular, beautiful headstrap. -

2024-10-08T00:00:00Personally, this made my Quest 2 VR experience SO MUCH better. Firstly the strap itself. It's very comfortable and adjustable. This was my first halo style strap and I can see why many prefer it. Instead of having your headset strapped to the front of your face. Feeling very tight having it "clamped" onto the front of your head. This puts the weight "ontop" of your head or more towards your forehead. It's also very thickly padded on all sides. Making it very comfortable for long term use, with minimal adjustments over very long periods of use. Honestly, the best value and comfort in a headsrap compared to the elite and default style straps.

2023-01-19T00:00:00Great headset that improves the comfort and fit of the Quest 2. Assembly was very easy; just slip the piece onto the headset clip and it stays in place with no wiggle room. The forehead cushion feels nice and the back-of-head cupping cushion conforms perfectly to my head. With the headset attached, wearing and removing the Quest 2 is super easy. No longer do I need to loosen the fabric strap or pull it tight each time. Now, I just place the unit on my head, rotate the tightening crank on the back of the unit and it keeps the headset tight on my head. I can run and bounce and the headset doesn't move around at all. When I need to remove the headset, I just rotate the crank the other direction and it comes off with ease. The weight of the unit isn't much, even with a battery pack attached. And the magnets on the battery packs are amazing! They are super strong and they attach/remove without any trouble and there's no fear of them flying off when you're playing. -

All the weight is distributed over your head instead, which feels much better. It's very comfortable to wear, and the cushioning feels very nice. It already feels great without the battery, but the added weight makes it even better.
