LESS VOLTAGE, BETTER EFFICIENCY: DDR5 requires less voltage, which results in lower power consumption than DDR4. On-module power management further increases efficiency and reduces motherboard complexity.

UP TO DOUBLE THE BANDWIDTH: DDR5 allows for up to double the bandwidth of DDR4, reducing a memory bottleneck. Content creation, gaming, and more will benefit from these rocket-fast speeds.

HIGHER PERFORMANCE: DDR5 has other internal improvements that lead to better overall performance. Make the most of your memory and reach the next level in gaming with these new technologies.

HIGHER CAPACITY: DDR5 can have up to four times the capacity in the same space, making sure you never run out of memory again. More is better, especially if you’re juggling sixteen cores or more.

COMPATIBLE AND RELIABLE: DDR5 also has improvements to error correction, making sure your experience is consistent and reliable. Further, our memory meets all JEDEC memory standards, so it’s easier than ever to upgrade and be on your way. Installation is always simple and easy, too.

I know it's silly to match memory and drives but I have had such good results from Sabrent drives I decided to give the memory a spin. No regrets. The price dropped considerably (>$40) within a month's time though so I recommend giving yourself time to shop.

The ram works and does increase the performance on my gaming PC. You can use this single stick alone as it is 16 GB. Sabrent has yet to disappoint me and I consider it a trusted brand. I do not have to worry about it being bad ram. After several months of using this ram, I have not seen any issues with this device. The specification for this ram is as followed 16 GB DDR5 4800 Mhz. In terms of gaming, this can work for that purpose. I would recommend at least 16 gb and this works great. You do not need multiple sticks for 16 gb.. I put this into my new gaming PC and it works pretty well. I personally like the simple look of it and the heatsink keeps it from over heating. It is little heavier and thicker due to heatsink plating. If you are planning to use this as a single stick in your desktop, this will work really well. 16 gb can run a gaming PC pretty well but it still bare minimum. It is pretty easy to install. One thing to note is that you should unplug your computer before changing the ram. Also make sure that you discharge yourself (touch metal) before handling to avoid static damage. It does not require any additional installation or setting changes (at least on my end) to make this work. Again the most important thing is to make sure you unplug your computer from the power before you install this to avoid any problems. It is just simple ram that has a pretty fast performance. It provides me with the ram I needed my gaming needs. It is also little more future proof. As a single stick, it is more than enough ram to surf the web, watch videos, and such. Be aware that for most gaming computers, 16 gb minimum is recommended. There are no real heating issues with a heat sink. It performs pretty well. Overall this is a very decently performing DDR5 ram. It performances is strong. It is great as a single stick of 16 gb. You can use this to added ram to a gaming PC or just use it in a new computer build as a single stick. It will work great.

DDR5 is a new animal (but then again, so were DDR4 and DDR3 before it…) - with much higher RAM speeds and much higher memory bandwidths, it removes some of the prior bottlenecks that were starting to show up on now legacy DDR4 powered platforms. Generally, this means that you get even faster performance which is always a good thing.

My motherboard was able to recognize the RAM without any issue, and the stick functions well as intended. However, these use the standard 4800MT/s speed and do not come with XMP profiles for overclocking. These speeds are fine for gaming and all types of computer use cases. But if you plan to have better RAM speeds with an easy and verified XMP profile for overclocking, look elsewhere. On the bright side, the RAM looks good and is low-profile, which is ideal for mini-ITX builds and is compatible with most, if not all, tower CPU air coolers.

These sticks are giving me constant Blue screens, replaced them outside your warranty and my PC has worked perfect since. I cannot refund these and want others to know this.

This SABRENT Rocket DDR5 16GB U-DIMM RAM runs at speeds of up to 4800MHz. To make the most of this RAM you'll want a MOBO that supports DDR5 RAM and you may want to consider purchasing another stick to run it in dual channel mode.

The only issue I had with installation into my laptop was that the RAM that came with the laptop was stuck down to the frame with a thermal putty layer and would not pop up when I thumbed the bracket holder to release it. That's not a fault of the Sabrent chips at all, just a challenge to installing.

Ok how did this Ram slip under my radar! Basically the units are standard dimms rated at jedec settings of 4800Mt/s with 40-40-40-77 timings out of the box.

The value at 64gb is really good for the price, however, because of the heatsink it is quite thick and I had to buy an additional 0.5mm thermal pad instead of using the 1mm pads I had already in my laptop.
