2024-12-04T00:00:00This thing has been very useful and I hardly notice it when it's on. It gives me tons of extra play time, and I figure it will save wear and tear on the main battery, lengthening the useful life of the headset. There's one small downside, and it's not really a big deal unless you don't have a separate room to keep this thing in at night - the indicator light on the side is visible from deep space. Whenever I get up in the night and walk past it, the glow is so bright I can see through time. Not a big deal, just something to keep in mind if you don't have a place to put it that ISN'T the place you sleep in. -

2022-08-23T00:00:00Had it for a week so far. Works well easy to put on, slides on side and I have an aftermarket head strap and it still fits fine. The battery cord could be a half inch longer as it is a little difficult to plug it in when mounted and even harder if you try to do it while wearing it. The head plug is a little snugger than most things this type. That can be a good thing but it is also a little more difficult to get it in. Battery life is good so far. It does add a small and "barely" noticeable left-sided off balance of weight to the head set. Product looks good. Will update review as necessary. Doesn't not come with charging cord, uses he same charger as your oculus. -

2024-11-09T00:00:00Setup was extremely easy. It just plugs into the side of the headset and clips on. It seems to stay charged for a while and it didn't take too terribly long to completely charge. The design is great. It doesn't take up too much space nor does it weigh the headset down. Great little extended battle if your headset dies quickly -

2024-12-12T00:00:00My biggest concerns were it would make the quest 2 feel heavier and that it wouldn’t charge or only charge for a few minutes. My quest 2 is a few years old now and doesn’t hold a charge like it used to, drops about 1-2% a minute, so I needed a battery pack. I didn’t exhaust the battery so I don’t know how long it would last but it kept the quest 2 running and actually charged a few percentage so I’m happy with the purchase. Now that I have this battery maybe I can hold out until the quest 4 :)

2024-12-07T00:00:00I had an attached battry pack before, but it got bad connection due to the flawed design after 2 years of use. I think and hope this one will last longer than my previous one. What I like about this design is that the battary pack was clipped onto headset strap's arm instead of directly being attached to USB II connector which holds the weight of the battary pack like my previous one.
