So they loosen up and it falls apart. Not a good buy. I used it again in a heavy storm, the hand broke where the grange grip is located. Purchased a new one a Lowe’s -

2023-02-06T00:00:00I didn’t take the time to measure a normal snow shovel before ordering, and I suppose I should’ve. This shovel is ok, but its size is more like one you would use on a porch or possibly a walkway. It’ll be a pain-staking task if you try to shovel an entire driveway with it. It seems sturdy enough, just small. -

2023-02-08T00:00:00I live out on five acres in the countryside with a gravel driveway and I order a lot of amazon items. Sadly, despite having a fella who plows the road to our home, and despite contracting with him to plow our actual driveway, he has yet to figure out where we live and do his job. So I ordered this shovel as a just-in-case he doesn't come out to plow. I'm grateful I did because we had two days with 7 inches of snow each and I drive a Mini Cooper, that's too much snow to get out in. When I gave up hope the snow plow fella would come, I started off to put together this shovel, and that was simple enough. The trouble with this shovel is that its just puny. I'm 5'6 and this thing is small. It is not ergonomic. It requires a lot of futzing to get to a point where you can effectively use it. I ultimately shoveled my entire driveway, which was no easy feat, so to this shovel's credit, it had served its purpose. At the end of the day, it does what it should but it just isn't blowing up my skirt. Buyer beware, its great for the price but don't expect much. -

2024-10-22T00:00:00I shoveled my walkway & driveway & the street after the hurricane Milton. As everyone knows wet leaves are difficult to blow away & I hate raking. So since I’m a Florida transplant, I brought my handy snowstorm shoveling skills . -

2023-02-07T00:00:00I like the idea of a compact snow shovel but this shovel’s design is not sturdy. There is a tiny little screw that holds the handle in place. After about two hours of use it broke. I knew it would as soon as I saw it. I’m going to fix by drilling through the handle and replace with a bolt. It’s still a weak design but now it should last a season. Don’t buy this unless it’s just for emergencies like for an auto emergency kit. -

2023-01-07T00:00:00I am a 66-year-old woman, living my first winter solo in Colorado. I have an early morning job as a caregiver and having to shovel myself out of the ice and snow has been rough some mornings. This great little shovel has been such a gift to me. It is lightweight and I can adjust it to the perfect length for my height. It is also very sturdy. The aluminum at the tip of the shovel allowed me to chip away at the layers ice underneath the snow. Sounds gruesome doesn’t it? But I live on a shady lot and had been in Arizona for six weeks, visiting my grandkids. Lots of snow and ice had accumulated and my neighbors had not been able to keep it up. Many of us are going through a snowy winter and no one wants to purchase something as expensive and necessary as a snow shovel and have it bend or break with the first real use. Maybe I will ease someone’s mind by assuring them that a purchase of this shovel will be an inexpensive, dependable and sturdy investment against a cold and snowy winter.
