Super easy to clean the machine after use. Easy fill and mix, easy disposal of dirty water. Great suction. All around fantastic tool. Bought a second one to give to my son and his girlfriend for their pet occupied home. -

2023-08-17T00:00:00I have used the old model for many years. The old model, which can often be found for half the price, is not a bad carpet shampooer and is better than its competition. However, the old pet pro plus had a lot of design defects. First, the old water chambers often leaked and broke. So often that I kept two spare chambers in the closet. Every time they broke your machine didn't work until you got a new chamber and there was a clean and dirty chamber which would break far too often at a cost of about 35 dollars to replace. This new model is more expensive, but the water chamber defects that caused it to break over and over have been corrected. The water being applied to the carpet is very hot. So hot you can see the steam going on the carpet. It uses lots of water and sucks the water back in. You can clean over a spot the old carpet cleaner cleaned and still get dirt. The new model has brought back life and color to my 8-year-old carpet. This new model is well worth the money. This steam cleaner drops the old mechanical switch, which allows you to choose between a light cleaning which quickly dries, to deep cleaning. Instead, all the controls are in the handle and consist of an off-on switch and a settings switch. It is easy to verify which mode you are in because the floor tool lights up the icon for light and deep cleaning, depending on which mode you want. It was easy to miss which setting you were using on the old model with the switch on the side. The new model is well worth the added cost. It is easier to operate, maintain, lower cost in the long run, and gets the carpet cleaner.

2023-12-24T00:00:00I have owned several different carpet cleaners and this blows them all out of the water. Went over an area that I had done 3 days before with my old machine before it randomly died, the water was black coming out of the carpet. Even on the deep clean setting it only takes a day for the carpet to dry. The machine is east to set up and even easier to use, I don't use bissel solution I use HDX Extractor from home depot and it works great as long as you follow the instructions on the bottle not the lines on the jug. The part I love is how easy it is to clean the head, not to mention how easy it is to remove the dirty water container.
