For those complaining that the plastic breaks, it is not meant to stood on. My granddaughter is 4 and lays on the floor in it and could not be happier. I would caution everyone about safety, especially near water. But it's cute and fun for dress up.

I chose this set for my granddaughter because the suit was a little more modest than many of the mermaid swimmers. The tail is absolutely pointless except for play and pictures but she really enjoyed it way more than I thought it was worth personally. It was really sturdy and heavy except not made for tiny kid feet. Very uncomfortable for that and the straps disnt really do anything to keep it on. She picked up using it 'successfully' pretty quickly. It was worth it for the smiles♡

My nieces love these, to the extent that they are annoying about wanting to wear them all day, with the fins, so they try to demand being carried. I wish the material was more durable like a good bathing suit. The fin was good and sturdy but the suit and the material of the tail not so much. It stretches out easily and doesn’t return to shape. The girls still love them. Just be advised if you don’t know please do not let small kids swim with a swim fin on unless a parent is holding them. Even great swimmers get bogged down and worn down quickly from a fin, so a child wouldn’t stand a chance at swimming with this without being a huge drowning risk. (I was a lifeguard for close to 10 years). Even with floaties on please don’t allow your children to use the big plastic fin part if they are alone.

We got my daughter this mermaid tail for her third birthday and she loves it so much!!! She flapped it around like crazy when she first put it on and then later she put it on again and scooted on her butt around the house 😂 I can’t wait to show her that she can wear it in the pool!!! It is so soft and vibrant and well made!!! I can’t believe how nice it is for being so affordable! It is the PERFECT size for her, with room to grow!!! It is stretchy enough to last her a couple years most likely, and the top has lots of extra fabric to tie it with, so I have no worries about her outgrowing that either! Completely worth every penny!!! 🩷🧜🏻‍♀️✨

The media could not be loaded. This was a big hit with the grandkids but size ran a little big and rubber fin cracked with normal use over a few days. Otherwise, these were a lot of fun with the fin inserts. A bit of a learning curve the first day but really propelled the mermaids. I would say the kids should be good swimmers to use these.
