The included 4 AA batteries worked fine for 5 days straight running 24 hours a day and still has 50% battery life. Rechargeable batties are the way to go. 2024-09-11T00:00:00I use the camera for monitoring inside of a small dark area that is not tall enough to fit the height of a regular size trail camera and I monitor only with night vision and low to no light at all. for this use case, 1080 is enough quality for the lighting I have available.

The three I have are all over 6-8 years old so when one started acting up I decided to see what was new in the game camera market. I was happy to see the improvements in features, technology and size. I ended up ordering three different cameras within a couple of weeks because they did not work properly. I would send one back and order another one. I did my research on these but still got bad cameras. I mainly shoot video so that is one of my priorities. I read about the Vikeri M9 and liked the size and description so I ordered it. When it came in I found it very easy to set up. Written Instructions were decent but the camera will walk you through the setup. I have been very pleased with the results. Pictures are clear and sharp. Video is great in daylight and very good at night. So far I am impressed.

2024-11-09T00:00:00Batteries are charged and 80% of the memory card memory is still available. I have video and photo both set to function. The device is set to run from 10pm- 6am. I've tried multiple times now and the device refuses to record. I have it set to be extra sensitive to motion and even have my porch light on as back up light. Still nothing records. Obvious traces of animals as they're cleaning the food I setup clean. All lenses on the device are clear and free of smudges. I've tried resetting it and nothing cures the issue.
