2024-09-29T00:00:00Purchased this after our previous steamer of many years no longer worked. As happens, these types of products seem to fail the day you need them for some event, or party after it has been sitting on a shelf for some time. Purchased this based on the fact that my experience has been the higher the wattage, the better these types of steamers seem to function. Although this unit was almost double in price than the one purchased years ago it replaces, functionally it is light years ahead in the performance area. Pull out of box, attach one of the diffuser type heads, fill with water. Turn on and selected Turbo mode. Blue power light blinks until ready then solid, and good to go. Once the steamer gets primed, big steam, consistant pattern, and you are off. Steamed a party dress in 5 minutes and looked amazing. Went through one tank of water. Cord is super long which is appreciated, and has a velcro strap to coil it up with to put away. Key is make sure to drain the tank on these when you store them- have a feeling that was what killed my last one as I did not run the water out before I put it away for a year. I think this is worth the price premium, looks great, feels solid in hand, and TONS of steam. Also like the multiple head attachments that I did not use, but may find a use for in the future. Will see how long it holds up, but again I use this type of product perhaps 3 times a year. Would definately purchase again. -

2024-12-25T00:00:00This is a great little steamer I bring with on vacation to steam and press my clothes when traveling. I also used it when hanging new drapes to steam out the wrinkles and creases, it works great. Not a full size, but just right for traveling and smaller projects. Reasonable priced as well.

2024-12-03T00:00:00I got this Rowenta steamer after the other one I had of a different brand broke before I had it for a year. I really like how fast this steamer heats up and how quickly it steams out the wrinkles on my clothes!! The steam trigger is a really nice feature especially when you have to adjust the position of your clothes. The only negative thing about this steamer is that the water tank is a bit small but it's easy to refill. My Brother recommended this model to me. I couldn't be happier with this Rowenta steamer! I would definitely give this 5 stars and recommend it to anyone!

2025-01-04T00:00:00I have owned several steamers from hand held travel size up to a full size garment steamer that rolls on wheels. The Rowenta X-cel Steamer is hands down the best one I've tried. Just unbound it and within 5 minutes I had the steamer going and completed steaming a sweater and pants that were very wrinkled from storage. This steamer h a d no problems getting rid of the wrinkles and I had plenty of steam to complete the job. Steamer was easy to fill, easy to use, and lightweight even with a full tank of water. This steamer even beat out costlier steamer I've tried. Well worth the ptice.
