We used the brackets and attached it to threaded rod so we can adjust the lights height to get the right amount of UV for our bearded dragon. It’s very bright and of excellent quality, very durable as I might’ve dropped once or twice while installing but it still works great and shows excellent performance. Highly recommend! -

2024-03-11T00:00:00I get these for the fixture. Surprisingly enough it's hard to find an empty fixture of this style for a reptile tank UVB. It's a really nice t5 uvb fixture and much better than the Carolina Cages ones I used to get way back when. The bulb on the other hand is crap. It does put out some uvb but there's nothing that compares to a good Arcadia bulb. This is like a lot of the woodworking tools out there that I buy. The tool is fine but the blade always needs to be replaced straight off. My advice is to get an Arcadia bulb for this fixture and keep the original bulb as a backup just in case.

I got this light because I figured he did not have enough UVB lighting and I am extremely happy I did! He has been up and running around, he got his appetite back, and sassier then he has been in a while. Came with the light and the bulb, cheaper than the store!
