2023-07-18T00:00:00I was very skeptical with many of the mini portable air coolers sold online and in stores. Most work by using the science of water evaporation. As water evaporates, it cools the surface or air it is evaporating from. In this way you can get a little cooling effect, but it’s not significant for most people. This little cooler is different. It uses mist that evaporates as it is sprayed from the unit and hit with the built in fan. What really stands out about this unit is that you can slip in 3 of the 6 water tanks included into the unit. You need to fill the little plastic tanks with water, (or you can fill them with some homemade “coolant”-just check YouTube), and freeze the little tanks. When you’re ready to use them, just stick them into this air cooler and turn it on. Between using the frozen water tanks AND filling the top of the unit with ice cubes and water you can get some VERY cold air coming out. -

2023-06-11T00:00:00It was working as it should the air was pretty cool but the fan was kind of weak. But after about 3 hours it turned off and when I tried to charge it again and run it the machine wouldn't cut back on just kept getting a red light. Cheap piece of Chinese crap. I would NOT recommend this to anyone. Just a wast of time.

2023-07-14T00:00:00The function lights stand out especially when avoiding bed time blue lighting. I used the packaging to shroud the upper portion. Works fine. The device is very compact and mobile, like a small lunch box. The ice pack and fan design is inefficient. The fan is drawing warm air and blowing around the packs, causing rapid melting of the packs. The packs should be to the rear and the fan to the very front. This way the cold packs will passively fill the box with cold air, instead of warm air drawn in the box by the fan. The atomizers are a great feature, however their concentrated stream is only 2 to 3" under constant use. That distance is significantly increased when each atomizer is initially turned on, due to pressure build up. The water feature is good with a well fitted cap and the spout is inclined so any excess water will drain to the cap. The water port is an 1", however ice cubes larger than .75" have to be forced down.

2023-09-02T00:00:00This AC is so nice because it is the perfect size for carrying around with. But some downfalls the ice packs definitely do not stay cold and frozen long. They water up top cannot fully be dumped out. The inside top also bubbles up . Now the air is very strong so that is nice and it kept my daughter nice and cool at the beach . But the charge didn't last long. So we had to plug it into your portable charger to keep it going. All in all would recommend for travel size and carrying ability. But definitely not for long term us

2023-06-12T00:00:00For the past four weeks, we've had no a/c in the bedrooms - has made for some lonnnnng clammy nights ... (have been waiting for an efficient a/c unit compatible with our 1960's era blowers to arrive on backorder and for our wonderful HVAC guy to be available for the install; thankfully, he's here to git 'er done today). Anyway, to get thru the muggy nights when just a regular tower fan wasn't cutting it, I ordered this on Amazon. SO GREAT! You actually chill 3 (of the 6 they send, so you have 3 on deck in the freezer if needed) "blue ice"-type packs that come with it, insert them in its belly and fill the top with water. It blows air from its fan past the ice blocks and also sends out an almost imperceptible cool mist (not enough to wet anything in its path, tho). Kept it near the bed and got "so chill" some nights that I needed my coverlet. A poor man's air conditioner. Plugs into a USB brick and also will hold a charge - so perfect for tents, etc. MUCH smaller than an ol'boy swamp cooler (but runs on the same principle).
