2024-06-04T00:00:00This paper does buckle when gotten quite wet, as at least one reviewer has posted, but if left taped till dry, which for me was maybe an hour without using a fan or blow dryer, it flattened right back out. I also didn't find that any of the paper tore when I removed the tape, either. I just use ordinary bright blue masking tape like you'd use painting a wall. I've used this tape with other papers when it did sometimes take off a little of the surface of the paper, but this paper was fine. And even though I tried to cause some, I didn't find any pilling, either. -

2023-09-12T00:00:00I have observed lately a large number of watercolor papers on the market that claim to be 100%cotton but at low prices and large quantities that seem like an unlikely combination given how pricey good cotton paper usually is. So my curiosity peaked and I decided to check out this one, as I was able to find a smaller quantity to sample. I wasn't sure I wanted to be stuck with 120 pages of junky paper. I have actually been pleasantly surprised. I am not sure I entirely believe that this paper is 100%cotton, but in putting it through its paces I have found it does a decent job. I also can't tell if it has any sizing on it, either external or internal, to help control the flow and absorption of the paint and water. The jury is still out on that aspect.

2024-10-11T00:00:00First off- this is NOT white paper. It is definitely off white. If you're like me and you want to practice brush patterns and brush styles this is a good choice. If you typically cover the entire page with paint and it doesn't matter if the paper is pure white this is a good choice and it's inexpensive. I knew it was off white and I was OK with that. The paper quality is more important to me than color. This is good quality.
