2023-06-07T00:00:00These are pretty lights for the Fourth of July. I have a walkway where I string lights at the entrance (people walk under them). These lights are perfect for that area. The lights are battery operated with a timer (3AA batteries) or you can use the USB. I am using the USB (needs to be undercover where it will not get wet). I found it easier to hang these lights from another strand of lights (there are little hooks at the top of each star strand). It does take patience to hang the lights because they easily tangle. I was able to get them to go across the wide span (wider than 8 ft.). The lights are bright at night. There are eight different modes. The button to change the modes is on the battery box or you can use the remote. I like that there is a star within a star. These lights look great with the rest of my Fourth of July decorations (my front yard is fully decorated). -

2023-06-19T00:00:00Let me start by saying these are pretty, red, white & blue and there are 8 different functions for the lights. The modes are all printed on the battery compartment. Batteries are not included. You can use 3AA batteries or you can plug in to a USB power source. They come with a remote that has all the numbered mode buttons on it, you can dim the lights if you want and there's a timer button but there is absolutely no information about the timer button anywhere so when you push it - how much time do you get? Who knows. Each string of lights has a plastic hook.
