Could be louder but at the same time happy it’s not because that would likely annoy the neighbors. Haven’t tried linking external sound for reason stated in previous sentence. Very easy to use. Plug in a fire stick and it becomes the same entertainment setup you already have, only outdoors. Needs extendable legs in front. Have to use foreign object to align with screen.

2024-02-05T00:00:00I bought this projector about 9 months ago. The remote has always been finicky and only sends signal to the projector if I hold it at a very specific height, and pointed in a very specific direction. And no, that direction is not toward the projector like one would think. Instead, it needs to be held parallel to the projector (height and direction) about 5 feet to the right in order for it to work. I’ve been annoyed by this but able to deal with it up until now. Tonight I turned on my projector (after trying about 25 times with the remote I gave up and got up to go turn it on with the button on the projector) then it made this horrible grinding noise as opposed to the normal gentle fan noise (I usually find this comforting like white noise). Overall, for what I paid for this, I was hoping for it to be more reliable and not die within less than a year.

2023-05-02T00:00:00Started out great, except the remote only works about a third of the time so to consistently use the device, you have to manually use the buttons on the device. Ours is upside-down and hanging from the ceiling. So that makes it kind of a pain but now the sound has gone completely out. For awhile when it did this I could get it to come back by recelecting the source, but that stopped working. I had high hopes and I wasn't expecting top of the line at this price, but sound is pretty important. Notice how all the other reviews have a similar structure and layout? It's interesting that all those people reviewing this product would all follow the same format. It's almost like someone told them what to say.

I set everything up indoor and we could hardly hear it in the kitchen, much less outdoors. You absolutely will need a decent bluetooth speaker.
