2024-08-26T00:00:00This is such a simple and effective way to improve the performance of a pool skimmer basket. We have a new pool with great flow on the jets and return, but our filter basket sits so deep that the suction will not pull the floating debris (bugs, grass clippings, leaves, wood mulch, etc.) down into the bottom of the skimmer basket. Instead, most debris will just float over the basket. Then, when the pump turns off, the debris would float back into the pool. Adding the Skimmie Cyclone creates a downward vortex that pulls in everything - even the bugs trying to swim or float on top. It's just awesome. It improves the performance of the skimmer basket by 10x. Because this makes the skimmer more effective, less debris ends up on the bottom of the pool. Truly a great product. -

2024-11-12T00:00:00My pool skimmer basket was to low in the pool. Before I had tons of dust and leaves that would never go down. Had to sweep the top of the water twice a day if I wanted it to look good. Now with that vortex, I DONT HAVE TO DO IT ALL!! Fantastic!!! -

2024-11-06T00:00:00So I was a sceptic when I saw this and figured would try on one end of pool. I have a lot of greenery around pool and offer get leaves and other debris in pool. These things are amazing at cleaning the surface of pool and not allowing much to hit bottom. You can see the difference. I am a fan and would highly recommend.

2024-06-15T00:00:00The media could not be loaded. At first I thought this is a gimmick but as soon as I placed it down on my pool basket. The water velocity increased double the amount and constantly had a mini cyclone of suction. I was worried it would be sucking air into the pool pump, which was not the case at all. Great product. I recommend you place the item narrow end down and use a nylon basket strainer filter to keep in place .

2024-06-08T00:00:00So skimmers work for most surface debris except that very light debris will continue to float at the surface of the skimmer vortex and never get sucked down. This gadget increases the velocity of the vortex so more stuff gets sucked down. It can be installed in an upward or downward configuration depending on the depth of your basket or skimmer hole if you don't use a basket.

For years I have been manually net skimming the pool to get rid of all kinds of surface debris, only to never really have a 'clean' surface. This little device pulls in all the gunk, big and small and truly 'skims' the surface. I have only taken my net out ONCE in the last three weeks. This device is going to save me probably 30 hours or more of manual labour throughout each pool season. Amazing gadget...get one!
