2024-11-09T00:00:00I got this for my office. Given how inexpensive, I wasn’t expecting much, but it works great. I use it quite often as I do a LOT of writing, every day. The pencils never get caught, except the one time I went to sharpen a pencil that had some kind of plastic on it, which was easy enough to remove. I just hand turned the pencil while removing it slowly. It didn’t damage the sharpener, which said a lot for the quality and durability. It’s a small, lightweight sharpener, so easy to move to another area if needed. It has a fairly long cord so that increases placeable options, which I like. Because I’ll eventually rearrange my office space. -

It didn't take as long as I had anticipated (YAY!), and this little sharpener whizzed right through them, without a hitch. Quality and functionality at a small price...what more can you ask for? (I used the electrical cord, not the battery, just to be certain the job got finished.)

2024-01-05T00:00:00The media could not be loaded. I used to own a battery operated pencil sharpener. It was not efficient and does not have enough power. I decided to buy this Bostitch sharpener. It sharpens pencil or crayon pencil fairly quickly and the result is amazing (see video and images). The power cord is about 70 inches long, which gives the user a longer operating range from outlet. It does have a nonslip rubber pads on the bottom. But you still have to hold the sharpener when it is operating to prevent it from sliding. -

2024-11-13T00:00:00Fast and efficient. My 5yr old has been asking for a electric pencil sharpener for weeks and the one we originally got for kids didn't ever sharpen one. As soon as this came in my so was so excited and proceeded to sharpen 24 pencils and after each one was so excited for how sharp and quick it was! He told me we had to post a review so everyone would buy this awesome sharpener!

2024-11-18T00:00:00Got this last night and I used it immediately as I haven't had even a manual one, so pencils were really dull and I need for drawing. Never had an electric one before but was pleasantly surprised it worked well and pencils were sharp with out wrecking them at all or using up to much pencil. Happy so far.
