Though I haven’t yet had the pleasure of facing off against an ancient samurai warrior, I’m fairly confident that this little beast would stand its ground. With in one week of use blade's sharpness was lowered though one still can use for straight line cuts. With the price range the pen is of high quality but expected longer life span. The delivery of knife took almost 20 days which is very strange.
