2024-11-12T00:00:00Be fully aware when purchasing. I purchase Visa Gift cards all through the year for gifts, including about 10 of them for family Christmas gifts. I gave a gift card to a family member for a birthday gift. They went to activate it and the giftcardmall website said there was no card information to contact customer service. You call giftcardmall cust serv and you are directed back to seller for refund. I went through the process of contacting Amazon cust serv. I was able to get through rather quickly and eventually transferred to a supervisor, because Amazon will insist it is active. I screen shot the message showing giftcardmall does not recognize the card. Because of this problem I checked all of my cards and found another one not able to activate. Two out of my five cards were no able to activate. Amazon did refund me for the card and fee. Item of note I asked if I could repurchase another card with an amazon gift card (because refund is instant that way) The supervisor confirmed I could. YOU CAN NOT. After I acceptable the Amazon gift card credit I could not purchase another card with it. Right on Amazon gift card terms and conditions it says you may not purchase other gift cards with it. If you purchase these cards open and activate right away and do not accept that they are active from Amazon.
