This fit perfectly on my 15-year old Troy-Bilt Storm 10028 (10 HP Tecumseh motor). My symptoms: ran erratic and motor surging. Last year, I kept the choke slightly on to somewhat smooth it out. This year, it was really rough and nothing helped. So, I took the carburetor out, since I figured the emulsion tube holes were plugged. And, don't pay attention to the YouTube videos on removing the carburetor on a Troy-Bilt 10-24. A 10-24 is a bit of a pain. The 10028 is easy. 4 screws on the plastic cover, 4 screws on the metal shield, and 1 screw on the key switch and everything's out of your way.

I had a really old carburetor, so I was a bit skeptical this would fit my 20+ year old Snapper 10/30 snowblower, but it fit perfectly. Everything you see in the picture came with the Carb. The initial mounting was very easy and straight forward. After I had the whole carb bolted in, I tried the run the blower and no gas was flowing.

Started up first pull on my Simplicity snowblower. The prime bulb fits a little loose. The gas hoses are a little short but the thing works. All of the castings and screw holes are in the right spot to put the cover back on. I used the included gas valve because my old one was leaking. You'll need to use the new fuel hose clamps because the old ones were thicker. Choke worka fine too. Runs strong.

An exact fit for my 2006 OEM Snow King snowblower engine. Started on the first pull, checked high and idle RPMs with a tachometer and they were spot on, no adjustment needed. Only used the carb, original fuel/primer lines and primer bulb were just fine, but good to have replacements for future needs. Quick and simple installation, no instructions so if you're skittish, look up your specific snowblower on Youtube and watch some of the many videos. Take pictures and note which hole the governor link uses, I marked the correct spot for the new one with a Sharpie before I started. You'll also use the original shield bracket and choke linkage, so be sure to note how they work. And do yourself a favor and use ONLY ethanol-free gas in small carbureted engines, mine was 12 years old when I got it, clearly the previous owner did not. I'll clean out the old carb at some point and put it on the shelf, but this was a hassle free, quick and efficient choic

I have a 1999 Areins 924102 Snowblower with the 10hp Tecumsah engine. My Dad gave it to me since he is starting with Dementia and cannot do physical labor anymore. Last winter I used it but it constantly surged while using and was a real pain. I tried cleaning the air intake and the gas bulb both brass pieces with tiny holes that could have gotten clogged. Neither fix changed anything. I finally searched for a rebuild kit for the carburetor only to find out you could buy an entire brand new carburetor for less than $16.00. Shipping was fast and i received it a day before a snow storm. I had to install it in really cold weather while it was freezing rain and sleet (probably the same thing lol). Out of the kit the only piece I did not use was the small primer line, I just reused the current one. Installation was easy (would have been super fast on a warm day or in an enclosed garage). One note it was impossible to start the snowblower by pulling the cord prior to this change. Once installed and primed I pulled the cord once nothing pulled again the snowblower started. I had never been able to do this before. Shut it off tried again and it started right up. I let it run for about 15 minutes to make sure there were no leaks then shut it off. About 8 hours later it was time to use it for the snow we just got and it performed flawless. I highly recommend this carburet

This carb works just as I hoped & better than trying to get the old one to work having old fuel left in it for 8 years. The primer, hose & knobs were a bonus.
