2022-08-27T00:00:00Short answer: Contrary to some of the negative reviews speaking about "warping", "discharging your battery" and other such things, it works exactly as advertised. I drive the test vehicle only a handful of times per year, so it sits outside for months on end sometimes which is bad for batteries, they like to be topped off all the time due to their internal chemistry. -

2021-01-08T00:00:00EDIT: I ended up returning these, because the batteries slowly lost their charge over a couple of weeks. Maybe I should have bought the ones with a higher wattage! However, I'm leaving them at 5 stars, because they do put out the advertised amperage. PS, I installed quick-disconnects instead; they do a fantastic job of preventing battery discharge.

2022-06-10T00:00:00I recently purchased your 1.5 watt solar battery charger. Before actually putting this into use I tested it on a 10 year old battery. I charged up the battery and it had a static charge of 12.75 V when I connected the solar charger to it. For 3 days it kept that battery charged in sunny conditions, partly sunny conditions and even cloudy conditions. My highest reading was 13.16 volts on full sun day and 12.86 volts on a cloudy day. Now this battery was not connected to any vehicle but sitting in my shed on a bench
