2024-09-16T00:00:00I ordered three different brands of the similar type of back brace. This SPARTHOS back brace in the beginning, was totally different than the other brands. When I wore it under my clothes. It seemed to rub up against my skin. But putting something like a small little tee shirt underneath. It makes a vast difference. It's like night and day this supports me so well. I normally wear a large but I received an extra large. I am about 153 pounds and if I could stand straight with the severe scoliosis, I would be 5'6. This has been a blessing to me. Since wear the tee its 10 times better than the other brand. As far as the support I get I can now walk further. Enjoying life much better the pain has dissipated more. I love this device as it makes my life a little more happier without the pressure and bothersome continuous pain. I do not take prescription pain killing. I am Neurontin Ibuprofen and SPARTHOS BACK BRACE. Only thing I don't particularly care for the amount of times I have to use the bathroom. You see I wear this every day. All day. I have an arm, 1 foot shorter than the other.. Both of my shoulders are bad I have to have a revision. On one of my shoulders. Addition to the severe scoliosis I also have neuropathy. Which I think all of us know you walk like you've had a couple too many at times. Life is a little challenging for somebody that's considered handicapped. But I have to say it's worth all the extra moments it takes me to put this on. I believe it's really worth a try. Again all I can say is thank you SPARTHOS back brace company for manufacturing a back brace with a lot of consideration and understanding about all different types of problems with the back. Even your stance. It has changed my life and making it better. Best 30 something dollars I've ever spent. Thank you so much, SPARTHOS Kathy. P.S. 2024-11-02T00:00:00This is a big wrap, covering a large area. It fits snugly and is easily adjustable. Lots of velcro but I worry about the grip (tightness) failing as the connections wear out (as it has on other velcro belts I’ve used). Seems to work well, easing the pain of lifting. Might cause some chafing depending on how you are wearing it.

2024-12-02T00:00:00Bought my original belt a few months back to help with lower back pain on my leg days at the gym. I have a heavier duty lifting belt but I'm kind of going away from heavy squats. This thing has me feeling great after my workouts, no more lower back pain. It's so good that now I've lived lost some weight and the large is starting to be too big so I just purchased a medium. Can't go back at this point. Also it's held up really well, feels just like the day it arrived.
