2024-12-14T00:00:00First quality large wire contacts, I have seen for solar connectors. Used normal hydraulic crimp-er for crimping lugs on wires. Worked perfect every time. What a pleasure to use. Nice to be able to take the connector apart after assembling and reuse, if needed. Remember 8 awg connector will not work with 10 awg connectors, just make a ad adapter cable, that will work. -

2024-10-22T00:00:00Definitely worth the higher price to go with BougeRV MC4 products. We’ve purchased some cheap garbage on Amazon several times and the MC4 connectors are NOT all made the same way. Many are non-standard and are not made to specifications. The connector tools do no fit properly and the connectors are too big or too small when you go with a low grade cheap brand. -
