2023-11-01T00:00:00I've had this speaker for over a year now. It is still in perfect, working condition. My original purchase decisions were: 1) Can get LOUD, 2) Has great battery life, 3) Decent sound quality, 4) Can be used as a wired speaker for tv, and 5) Has microphone/karaoke input.

2023-07-13T00:00:00Let's get the negative out of the way: the microphone is not great and the sound from the mic does not project far. That being said, the sound quality is good and relatively loud. I used this speaker in an open park for the music to a Japanese festival performances and people were able to hear the music properly to upto 20 to 25 meters on its loudest setting. I'm hoping the sound quality doesn't degrade over time. I'm using it regularly now for music at the construction site so I'll update if something changes a couple of months from now.

2019-05-12T00:00:00I purchased the ION PLUS BLOCK ROCKER to use at work, and I am satisfied with the unit . I've had it for several months and it produces decent sound quality, with a BASE enhancement button (which I find I always need to use) on most albums that I play through the unit. Having a brand new battery, I get about 15 Hours of straight play from a full charge/week. Despite another review comment below....YES IT DOES HAVE HAVE FM RADIO, as well as AM RAIO, so that review is completely FALSE. I Charge it on the Weekend, and it lasts me right through to Friday the following week on one charge, playing an average of 3 hours per day. It comes with a basic, cheap microphone if you want to sing through the unit, but I just Link it VIA Blue Tooth from my cell phone where I have all my music downloaded on. The Distance Range for the Blue Tooth inside where I work is about 50 feet from my cell phone. Hopefully I get 3 or 4 years on the Original Battery, but then I would assume I could open it up and swap it out for a new one (not sure about that though until the day comes) Basically it has a CAR BATTERY inside it, so like any car battery the life of it will eventually run out after so many charges. Still good unit, and it goes quite loud. I only have to turn it up just a tiny bit and that's plenty loud enough where I work. -
