2022-12-02T00:00:00I bought this because I have Roxio on my old laptop and loved it - I had Nero on my old laptop, as well, but half the time, the burn would fail. Never had that problem with Roxio. The new laptop only came with Windows Media Player, so I bought this program based on my past experience with it, and it still works great. Had no issues setting it up in my new laptop and have already burned many discs with no errors, and also ripped many of my CDs. The best part is, now it also puts the album and song titles up automatically when you rip the disc, which it didn't in my old laptop, which saves me a lot of work having to manually hand key all the song titles, artist, etc. I haven't actually tried it for burning DVDs yet, as my old external DVD drive won't burn DVDs anymore for some reason. If I get a new one eventually, I'll have to try that out, but I mainly got it for CDs, anyway. -

2022-10-01T00:00:00Warning! Please stay away from Coral Roxio. This is their third software I've tried recently , none of their products are properly updated (re- programmed ) to work with modern updated operating software. Old programming software that they invest very little to correct to make compatible with new operating systems and software. After installing this software, I noticed all other unrelated software on my computer running slow and hanging up. This happened too when I tried there PaintShop and Roxio Creator 9. Their software is not fully compatible with Windows updated operating systems. After a few window updates you'll lose many functions of their software and they never offer patches or updates either, a sham. It's like a money grab to live off of Old programming versions, technology and name, not willing to invest to redo their software properly. Roxio used to be wonderful many many years ago, it's not the same company today as it was years past. They do very little to properly upgrade their software and give you patches and updates so they work along with Windows updates and other driver updates. They never offer updates and fixes. Several of their products I've tried are simply lemons and they should be pulled from the market.

2024-11-29T00:00:00...... if recording a disc with multiple songs of the same title but variations of, the program groups them ALL TOGETHER. This is not desirable! Overall a good but slow program for making your own cd's.

2024-10-23T00:00:00I used this software for many years and finally bought this new edition. It has so many different features it will take you awhile to go thru them all/ use the different features. It burns DVD/CDs with no issues at all . Highly recommend .

2021-08-04T00:00:00and hasn't been burning items on cd's anymore. Many vechicles may not come with cd players anymore but the one I have has one and I don't really want to pay for spotify. I actually still have cd's but don't want to wear them out playing the original too much, plus also have playlists from individual songs I've purchased so prefer to make a cd to put individual songs I like on it.

2022-11-02T00:00:00Tried to use Roxio to take YouTube music and put it on a CD. Maybe this is not possible, or there are rules against it. But when I called up to the manufacturer to get info on using the disk. they hung up several times. No instructions are provided in the box, and Roxio website gives no instructions either.
